Coaching Methodology

The client’s goals will guide the coaching.  The goals are discussed in an introductory session, free of charge, and then set forth in a coaching agreement.  Sarah generally proposes 5 sessions to explore and establish the means of achieving those goals. During those sessions, Sarah and the client will examine the client’s strengths and ambitions, their work environments, their role(s), the relevant organization(s), roadblocks, and, finally, alignment and strategies for achieving their goals. Included in her coaching services are consultations between sessions (review of documents, for example), and a follow-up session six months after the end of the coaching.

With the understanding that professional fulfillment has a positive impact on personal wellbeing,  coaching with Sarah will impact a client beyond their professional sphere.

Having grown up in the United States, lived and worked for half her life in France and dealt with business matters around the globe, Sarah is well-versed in addressing cultural issues that arise in international environments. Bilingual, she is comfortable working in English or in French.

Sarah is committed to her ethical responsibilities as a coach, which include familiarity with and commitment to applicable ethical guidelines, supervision, peer support and continued learning.

“Working with Sarah is a true pleasure! She was able to clearly mirror back my situation and identify the core problems, while bringing me on a journey to better understand myself and move me out of a place of confusion and into a place of strength. I love how she encouraged me to listen to my emotions as data points and I truly appreciated how she brought in her own professional career as insights. I would not be in the place of calmness and clarity about my work situation without her guidance.“
